Ezra is a freelance sound artist, musician and audio engineer based in West Dorset. He explores sound from an ecological perspective, creating work that examines both the physical and emotional relationships between people and the natural world. His practice is guided by organic processes and curiosity, following ideas that emerge through listening, experimentation and place, while encouraging audiences to engage more deeply with the environments around them.

His work combines analogue and digital techniques, including field recording, immersive audio, film, and the creation of bespoke sound-making objects and instruments. Working across installations, public artworks, performances and commissions, he has collaborated as an artist, workshop facilitator and sound engineer with festivals, theatres, music venues and outdoor events throughout the UK and Ue

Ezra has worked with artists and organisations including Mark Anderson, Akademi, Oxford Contemporary Music, Greenpeace, Walk the Plank, Activate Performing Arts, dBs Music, Green Space Dark Skies, Bridport Town Council, Dorset National Landscape and Outdoor Arts 101.

Alongside his artistic practice, Ezra runs Oaka Instruments, where he designs and builds specialist microphones and experimental sound tools for artists, musicians and sound designers.
