Echoes and Embers
Echoes & Embers is an immersive performance using experimental photography, projections, field recordings and improvised musical performance. The piece was a reflection on the human relationship to landscape, allowing the audience to reflect on interpretations of our audible and visual world.
The soundscapes and visuals were gathered from the Dorset landscape and other parts of the UK. The piece used multiple digital and analog projectors and an immersive four channel sound system. The sound was performed live using electronics, field recordings, found materials and traditional instruments.
The Team:
Giles W Bennett - Photography, Film and Projections
Ezra Gray - Field Recordings and Soundscape
