Forest Floor

Forest Floor is an indoor installation created using a modified analog slide projector and Soviet era factory horns.

The slides were created by foraging for materials in the Autumn / Winter of 2023. The piece was designed to showcase the delicate structures that nature creates in its various forms. The materials used were leaf / seed skeletons, seaweed and decaying materials. Colour was also added using acetate sheets.

Sound was also provided from some modified Soviet era factory horns, these played field recordings and a drone.

The piece was created for an exhibition at Jamaica Street Studios in Bristol. January 2024
